Have a t-shirt idea or a graphic you’d love on a tote? This spotlight provides an orientation to screenprinting on fabric. We’ll move through the entire process of printing a one-color design on fabric using ecofriendly water-based inks. You’ll coat your own screen with photographic emulsion, use our darkroom to expose your image onto a screen, then we guide you through setting up your print station and the printing process. We’ll finish by reclaiming screens and heat-setting your garments so they’re wash-safe.
This is a great entry point for anyone curious about printing on fabric, and offers a foundation for larger or multi-color projects.
Bring or email a black & white image (up to 8" × 10"), or come ready to draw your design on site with an opaque marker. Bring three to five 100% cotton shirts or totes (any color), or purchase basic white shirts or natural totes at Campfire for $6.50 each.
5pm - Doors open
5:30-9pm - Project begins
