Meet our current Studio Artists
Campfire Studio Artists
Campfire Studio Artists are a core group of artists who have a sustained relationship with the studio and make Campfire their creative home.
Studio Artists receive 24-hour access to work on their own schedule and develop their printmaking practice at their own pace, while sharing Campfire's professional facilities and collaborative environment.
Four Studio Artists also have use of a private studio—a dedicated space of their own, in addition to full access to the shared studio and everything else included in the program.
Artists can remain with Campfire for years, building lasting relationships with fellow Studio Artists while allowing the print studio, and all of the tools and equipment within, to be a reliable part of their practice.
What Studio Artists receive:
24/7 access to Campfire Printing Press, including equipment that the artist is certified for
Use of one flat file drawer
Storage bin for personal supplies (only artists without a private studio)
Option to host one public event in the shared space per year
25% discount on all resale
50% off any additional services, workshops or programs
Complimentary Open Print session participation
Studio Artists with a private studio also receive:
A dedicated private studio, in addition to full access to the shared studio
4 feet of wall space for displaying and selling their artwork
Requirements
Studio Artists work at Campfire independently so a level of technical expertise in one or more areas of printmaking is required–enough to guarantee safe, respectful, clean, and independent use of the studio.
New Studio Artists receive two four-hour authorization sessions to allow artists to get acclimated to the studio, learn about policies and procedures, and demonstrate their comfort in various areas of the studio. To encourage artists to continually expand their practice, Studio Artists are welcome to join weekly Open Print sessions for no additional cost.
