Processes

Campfire Printing Press is home to a robust collection of equipment, tools, and materials that support a wide spectrum of printmaking methods.

In addition to having the right tools on hand for a variety of traditional and contemporary print processes, Angee and Colin each bring decades of experience with intaglio, relief, screen, and monoprinting—working with these processes in our own practice, teaching them, and collaborating with artists to bring projects to life.

Explore the processes below to see what resources we offer for each. In addition to our core methods, Campfire Printing Press can also accommodate many print-adjacent practices such as cyanotypes, book arts, comics and zines, and mixed-media.

Monoprinting

At Campfire Printing Press, monoprinting is an open-ended, hands-on way to explore color, texture, and mark-making. Using inks, brayers, and simple tools, each participant creates one-of-a-kind prints—no two impressions are ever the same. It’s an inviting process for beginners and experienced printmakers alike, perfect for experimenting, loosening up, and discovering unexpected results on the press.
