Facilities & Equipment
Campfire Printing Press is a co-working studio with a large, open floor plan, great for printing large-scale, high-quality prints in a variety of traditional and contemporary printmaking processes including intaglio, relief, screenprinting, and monoprinting. Campfire equipment can easily accommodate full size sheets of paper (30”x42”) and beyond.
Our studio features high ceilings and natural light, a showroom wall, and a lounge area with a pinboard for staging work-in-progress. From the open work space, there is a darkroom, a water room, and four private studios.
Campfire Printing Press is located in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood within a heavy timber loft industrial building known as The Machine Shop.
Accessibility
Campfire is on the second floor, accessible by one flight of stairs. Alternatively, the studio may be accessed by a side door with 5 stairs that lead to a freight elevator.
