Everyone’s welcome to join us in the studio
We do things a little differently at Campfire Printing Press. Our print sessions blend the freedom of an open studio with the level of support you would expect from a class. Instead of following a predetermined lesson plan, you’ll work at your own pace on your own projects, with expert printmakers offering guidance, demonstrations, and hands-on assistance as needed. It’s a space designed for curiosity, exploration, and growth, where printers of any experience level learn from us, as well as each other.
Print Sessions are available in a few varieties:
No experience is necessary to attend Community or Individual print sessions, and new folks can join on a rolling basis.
Open Hours
Drop in any Wednesday between 5 and 7pm to see the studio and talk about your project ideas.
Ink & Paper
Bring your own inks or use Campfire inks for $1 to $3/ounce.
Plastisol or solvent-based inks are not allowed.
Bring your own paper or fabric to print on. Printing paper is not provided.

Digital Printing
Bring your own film positives or use one of our digital printers
Large-scale positives can be printed with our Epson SureColor T3170x 24" for $1/linear inch of film + 5¢/square inch of ink.
8.5x11” print outs are available free of charge.
Pre-paid print packages are a great option if you:
Need routine around your studio practice;
Want to turn print sessions into your own custom six-week class;
Have a project that will require multiple sessions; or
Are looking to purchase studio time for a special printmaker in your life.
We can work with you to pace your project or learn goals across six Community Print Sessions.
Valid for six months from first purchase and cannot be used in conjunction with our frequent printer punch cards.
