Facilities & Equipment

Campfire Printing Press is a co-working studio with a large, open floor plan, great for printing large-scale, high-quality prints in a variety of traditional and contemporary printmaking processes. Campfire equipment can easily accommodate full size sheets of paper (30”x42”) and beyond.

Our studio features high ceilings and natural light, a showroom wall, and a lounge area with a pinboard for staging work-in-progress. From the open work space, there is a darkroom, a water room, and four private studios.

Campfire Printing Press is located in the Heart of Chicago neighborhood within a heavy timber loft industrial building known as The Machine Shop.

Accessibility

Campfire is on the second floor, accessible by one flight of stairs. Alternatively, the studio may be accessed by a side door with 5 stairs that lead to a freight elevator.
