With Halloween around the corner, we will demonstrate how to use a variety of specialty screenprinting techniques with spine-tingling results.
We'll begin with the surrealist drawing game known as exquisite corpse. Once our drawings are complete, we’ll stitch together our Frankenstein creature using a variety of fun screenprinting techniques: glow-in-the-dark ink, flocking (for a raised, fuzzy texture), puff ink (for a raised, squishy texture), and embossing powder (for a raised, glossy finish).
By the end of the night, you will have created a one-of-a-kind screenprinted monster that shows off four lesser-known screenprinting processes. Once home, hang it on your front door to delight trick-or-treaters!
