  • 40” x 72” Takach etching press

  • 24” x 48” hot plate

  • 30” x 60” glass ink slab

  • ⅕ HP Master Airbrush with air compressor

  • Speedball Hand Brayers: 1.5” to 4” (3.75” roll out length)

  • Takach Hand Brayers: 6” and 8” (7.75” roll out length)

  • Takach Rollers:

  • 4.75” diameter x 18.75” face, 35 durometer (15” roll out)

  • 8.5” diameter x 20.5” face, 35 durometer (26” roll out)

Tools & Materials

  • Liquid hard ground (American Graphics Distributors)

  • Aquatint ground (India Ink + Acrylic medium)

Ink

  • $2/ounce for Hanco relief & intaglio inks

  • $3/ounce for Gamblin, and Cranfield relief & intaglio inks

  • or bring your own ink

Bring Your Own*

  • Plates (i.e. wood, copper)

  • Etching needle

  • Scraper

  • Burnisher

  • Carving tools

  • Transfer paper

  • Alternative grounds (soft ground, white ground, sugar lift, etc.)

*Community and supported print sessions include access to a small quantity of “bring your own” tools and supplies for the purpose of experimentation and learning. Artists attending independent print sessions are asked to invest in their own set of tools and supplies.
